Wanneer de studente Tsukasa wordt aangevallen door een vampier, snelt Anzai haar te hulp. Hij is zelf een van de vele halfvampiers die zich onopgemerkt onder de bevolking hebben vermengd. Uitgerust met bovennatuurlijke vermogens, treedt Anzai op in de schaduw voor een speciale politie-eenheid die gespecialiseerd is in demonische misdaden. Om Tsukasa te blijven beschermen, blijft hij dicht bij haar en al snel ontstaan er onverwachte gevoelens tussen de twee.
