Kick is vroeger als kind ontvoerd en is gered door FBI-agent Frank Novak. In de jaren die volgen traint Kick in vechtsporten en met vuurwapens. Als Novak haar overtuigt om zich aan te sluiten in zijn speciale team die verdwenen mensen opspoort, heeft zij haar roeping gevonden.
