Clark en Floyd zijn twee vaders uit de voorsteden. Floyd is getrouwd met Carol en alle drie worstelen ze met de malaise van de midlifecrisis en verborgen verlangens. Op een dag biedt Clark een seks-app aan genaamd "DTF St. Louis" (een acroniem voor "down to fuck") in een poging het huwelijk van Floyd te saboteren. Clark heeft namelijk een affaire met Carol.
