In een wereld waar koningen een klasse apart zijn, begint het pad van de jonge prins Boji onderaan de ladder. Maar zijn volk gelooft niet dat hun naïeve, dove en zwakke prins roem en welvaart in het koninkrijk zal brengen. Wanneer hij eindelijk Kage ontmoet, een monster met een groot hart, wordt er een klein sprankje moed ontstoken in Boji. Met twee personen is alles mogelijk en zo begint Boji's pad naar de top van de koninklijke rangen!
